The Les Bruyères Forest is a wooded massif surrounded by meadows and scattered with clearings, where the common heather grows, from which the site derives its name. Situated on the north-western slope of an edge of the Gohelle plateau, this site constitutes a green lung on the southern periphery of the town of Lens-Liévin. Its various trails will lead you from the old pit entrance to the woodlands, over the course of a walk in the heart of a historic site.
