Plateau des Landres Regional Nature Reserve

This 201-hectare Regional Nature Reserve forms a crescent shade, about 10 km long by 2 km wide. The geological nature of the soil gives this site a multitude of natural environments rarely found north of Paris, with grassy, heather, woodland and wet moors. This unique space also includes an extensive network of lakes and ponds. All these environments serve as the refuge of rare and endangered species, such as the cross-leaved heath, the spotted salamander or the bog bush cricket. What’s more, the many paths of the reserve provide the perfect setting for enjoyable hikes with friends or family.
