Formerly a marshland area, this site was born from a traditional peat-extraction site in operation until the mid-nineteenth century, when this means of heating was abandoned in favour of coal. Since then, the lake has become an elegant place for walks and fishing, of great interest both in terms of tourism and the environment. Thanks to its exceptional fauna and flora, it has retained a very natural appearance.

Opening: guided tours only
